Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.
This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.
That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.
At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.
Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
- The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty place.
- The warrior and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could assist the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The fighter pledged a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:
- Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
- The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This results in them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the other eight players to round up the Questers and Planners groups.
